We have to transit in Singapore overnight; We arrive into Singapore Changi airport at about 5:30pm local time, and our flight from Singapore to Hanoi is not until 10:30am the next day. A total of about 17 hours.
We are going to plan to leave our luggage at the left luggage area – about $5 SG per piece for up to 24 hours (not sure if 24 hours stops at midnight?) but we will only leave it there for about 5 hours anyway.
We have booked the Singapore transit hotel for a 6 hour block ($65 SG) + 2 additional hours ($13/hr SG) + Tax from 11pm until 7am.
We are going to then travel by train into Singapore and eat duck or Crab and then head back to the airport to get into our room about 11pm.
The Singapore transit hotel is in each of the 3 terminals at Changi airport. It is inside the airport, no need to go through immigration if you do not want to leave the airport.
